Dear Fellow Property Owners:

Congratulations on your recent purchase of property in AuSable Acres. Your Association officers and neighbors extend their welcome and encourage you to join the 460 members of the AAPOA Inc.

The association is dedicated to safeguarding the interests of all property owners. We are a not-for-profit corporation; the purpose of which is to promote the use, enjoyment, and living conditions in AuSable Acres. The lake, playgrounds, tennis courts, as well as the 15 ½ miles of hiking and cross country ski trails are totally maintained by your homeowners association. Recently a toddler park was installed at the pond. We also provided an E911 reflective house number to the 360 existing homes in the Acres. A nature trail around the pond is nearing completion. All the projects are maintained from your membership dues.

If you would like to become a member of the Homeowners Association, please fill out our Membership Dues form and mail it to us. Review the covenants and restrictions that go with the deed of your property. These C and R’s have been upheld in court, and are perhaps the most important reason for purchasing your property in AuSable Acres. The C and R’s work to maintain the value of your home. Also as a member you will receive a biannual newsletter as well as updates of events to keep you informed of important happenings within the community.

In addition, there is a “Year Rounders” club which gets together for dinner at one of the local restaurants three times a year. It is a great way to get to know people as well as restaurants in the area. Any Association member or guest who wishes to participate is welcome to participate. There is no obligation, but you will receive the dinner notices if you indicate interest on your invoice.
